Wednesday 1 July 2015 – The Early Horn

From the woods to the concert platform – an illustrated talk by Laura Morris and Laura Tanner to include works by Mozart, Vivaldi and Beethoven.


Friday 3 July 2015 – The Romantic Horn

MEN WITH HORNS – this Quartet present an illustrated talk highlighting works written for horn during the Romantic period, including Schubert and Gounod.


Wednesday 8 July 2015 – The Twentieth Century and Beyond

Hear the beauties of the Ethel Smyth Trio for Violin, Horn and Piano, and Strauss’ Alphorn for Soprano and Piano, presented by Laura Morris.


All three concerts are at Christ Church Cheltenham, GL50 2JH, starting at 2pm.  Suggested donation of £5 on the door.
